This page contains instructions to help you migrate from the previous widget version to the new one.

Step 1: Copy parameters from the previous widget version

To copy the settings of the previous widget, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Bot settings → Widget.
  2. Click the Go link in the last block of the Widget section.

  1. In the Embed code for your website, there is a JavaScript function kw('init', ...) that contains your settings. Copy this function.

Step 2: Transfer the copied parameters to Widget 2.0

After copying the parameters from the previous widget, paste them into the new version. Follow these instructions:

  1. Again, go to Bot settings → Widget.
  2. Click Go in the Widget configuration page block.

  1. In the Embed code for your website, delete the kw('init', ...) function and paste the function you copied in its place.

  1. Verify that all settings were transferred correctly in the Settings Panel of the widget builder.
